Welcome to Maastricht!
With the start of the new academic year, the Gaels welcome all new arrivals to the oldest and most beautiful city in the Netherlands! We train two evenings per week from the first week of September. Hope to see you on the pitch soon!
Training – Mondays & Wednesdays
We train on Europe’s only full size GAA astroturf pitch in Sportpark West [Negenputruwe, Malberg] on Mondays at 20:00 and Wednesdays at 18:30

The Gaels started as a GAA club in 2005 and we became a Student Sports Association (SSA) in Maastricht University in 2021.

The Gales hosted the Maastricht Internal Cup in November and December of 2022. The club members were split into four teams

Last Saturday, the Gaels hosted teams from Amsterdam, Belgium, Den Haag, and Eindhoven for a mini Hurling and Camogie Tournament.
